Welcome to the Snake Handler website
This site has been designed by Sean and Stacey McCarthy, to increase public awareness and appreciation of reptiles, snakebite prevention and awareness of snakes around residences. We are both passionate about reptiles and enjoy sharing our passion and knowledge by educating people about them. We provide information for reptile keepers on various facets of reptile husbandry and snake control.
As a part of this we have developed courses to help the general public learn more about caring for reptiles in captivity and we also train people in catching venomous reptiles and relocating them.
We regularly do Birthday Parties for children of all ages (even some of the 'older' kids!) Please check out our Childrens Parties page for further information.
Snakehandler travels extensively to share our knowledge and passion, running courses in Victoria & Queensland and now offering Industry courses to South Australia & the Northern Territory.
We have extensive experience in providing training for mines and other commercial companies, including pet stores and other industries. We have just increased our Public Liability Insurance from $10m to $20m.
The business is based in Melbourne's South East; we are available for snake removal across Melbourne 24 hours a day 7 days a week, and also have an extensive list of Snake Catchers available in other areas.
